Antioch Baptist Church of Clinton High School Scholarship
Antioch Baptist Church of Clinton is committed to supporting and encouraging students as they pursue higher education and prepare to become future leaders in their communities. This scholarship opportunity recognizes graduating high school seniors who demonstrate academic commitment, personal growth, leadership potential and a desire to positively impact the world around them.
STEM Empowers Futures Scholarship
The STEM Empowers Futures Scholarship supports graduating high school seniors who are passionate about pursuing careers in science, technology, engineering and mathematics. This opportunity is designed to encourage students who are committed to innovation, overcoming challenges and using STEM education to create meaningful change within their communities and society.
Scholarship Criteria:
(1) General High School Scholarships
The 2026 Antioch Baptist Church of Clinton High School Scholarship is open to current high school seniors living in the surrounding community or attending Antioch Baptist Church of Clinton. Students will write a 500–700 word essay based on the question provided below.
Essay Question
With what is happening in the world today and the pursuit of your education, how can you help your community feel safe and grow?
In your response, discuss how your education, personal values, faith, leadership experiences and future goals can positively impact your community. Include examples of how you hope to encourage growth, unity, opportunity and safety for others through your actions, career aspirations or service.
Essay Criteria & Timeline
- Submitters must be current high school seniors (Grade 12).
- Students must have a minimum 2.5 GPA.
- The essay must be an original body of work written solely by the student submitter without assistance from other parties.
- Essays must be between 500–700 words.
- The deadline for submissions is 11:59 p.m. ET on Saturday, June 20, 2026.
- Scholarship recipients will be notified and invited to attend the service for the award presentation on Sunday, July 26, 2026.
Awards
- $500 (1) — To a student selected who attends Antioch Baptist Church of Clinton
- $500 (1) — To a student selected who lives in or around the Antioch Baptist Church of Clinton community
(2) STEM Empowers Futures Scholarship 2026
The STEM Empowers Futures Scholarship is open to current high school seniors living in the surrounding community or attending Antioch Baptist Church of Clinton who plan to pursue a STEM-related major in college. Students will write a 500–700 word essay based on the criteria provided below.
Essay Criteria
Write a 500–700 word essay that addresses the following:
- Describe your passion for your chosen STEM field of study.
- What challenges have you had to overcome in your pursuit of your chosen STEM field of study?
- How will your STEM education empower you to make a positive impact on society?
Students are encouraged to share personal experiences, academic interests, leadership experiences and future goals that demonstrate their commitment to STEM education and service to others.
Award
(1) $1,000 Award
Eligibility & Timeline
